Did you know we sell Slaters Plastikard gift vouchers?
IMPORTANT
It has been brought to our attention that some wheels purportedly manufactured by us are currently for sale on eBay.
These are NOT Slater's products being manufactured in China. They are not to the high quality you would associate with us and they are not compatible with our bearings, crankpins and axles.
We are currently aware of 7880G and 7851G being sold in this manner but there may be others.
Distinguishing features of the fakes are that the tyres are plated, the screws holding the wheel onto the axle are blackened and do not sit flush into the wheel, the axles are 4.5mm diameter rather than 3/16", all screw threads are metric rather than BA and finally, on the rear of the wheel, the centre bush is of a hexagonal shape whereas our bushes are octagonal.
You are STRONGLY advised never to purchase goods offered as new and purportedly manufactured by Slater's unless they come in full retail packaging from a reputable retailer or via our own website.
